Medical Reserve Corps volunteers will be available to support medical and mental health personnel
during a public health emergency in our community. Public health emergencies could include:

• Flu epidemics
• Other disease outbreaks
• Bioterrorism attacks

Medical Reserve Corps volunteers will help with:

• Emergency clinics for mass vaccination or pharmaceutical distribution
• Disease outbreak investigations
• Other emergencies involving public health as appropriate
• Staffing neighborhood help centers
